Description:

Operated by the Alabama Historical Commission, this 1860s Italianate home was used as a Confederate Hospital during the Civil War. The interior walls of three rooms were beautifully hand-stenciled and painted in the 1880s and are some of the best examples of extant Victorian mural painting. Located near downtown Eufaula, the home is conveniently close to a number of shops and restaurants.

Open Mon. - Tues. and Thurs. - Sat. 10:00 a.m. - noon and 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.; Closed Sun. and Weds.

Admission Details:

Adults $5; Students, Seniors (65+) and Military $4; Children (6-18) $3; Children under 6 are free.
